Este tipo, (Bolsonaro), acaba de alegrar mi día.
Primero escojamos un puñado de citas seleccionadas:
"Mi campaña electoral escuchó el llamado de las calles y forjó un compromiso de colocar a Brasil primero y a Dios por encima de todo".

"Me coloco ante toda la nación, en este día, como el día en el que la gente comenzó a liberarse del socialismo, de la inversión de valores, del gran gobierno y de la corrección política".
Si esto no es suficiente, ¿qué tal su nuevo Ministro para las Familias?
"Cuando hablo de la vida, estoy hablando de la vida desde la concepción",
"En este gobierno, una niña será una princesa y un niño será un príncipe"
"El gobierno es laico, pero este ministro es terriblemente cristiano".
Esto es bastante impactante. Apenas se puede creer que esto ocurra hoy, en el siglo XXI. Esto es como el aire fresco que finalmente ingresa a una habitación llena de hedor (liberal). Esto es, al menos en lo que concierne a los valores.
Este hombre muestra una vez más que Dios trabaja de maneras misteriosas. Cuando Él interviene, lo hace de una manera generalmente inesperada, porque el mundo es incapaz de entender el funcionamiento de Dios. Nos envía a personas inesperadas, con caracteres e inclinaciones inesperadas, que causan un trastorno totalmente inesperado del status quo mundano. Él no envía (la mayoría de las veces al menos) a grandes santos y ángeles poderosos. Él envía gente falible y defectuosa como nosotros.
Tienen nombres comunes; nombres como Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump, Viktor Orban, Matteo Salvini; pero también, mirando el pasado, Benito Mussolini, Napoleone Bonaparte, Flavio Valerio Aurelio Constantino. Normalmente no han llevado, ni en muchos casos llevan, una vida ejemplar; pero en algún momento, comienzan, más o menos voluntariamente, y en ocasiones simplemente por conveniencia política, a hacer la obra de Dios para su país.
Miramos estos cambios repentinos de paisaje y nos asombramos ante la grandeza de Dios, trabajando bajo nuestros ojos, para que aquellos que tienen ojos, vean.
(...) Es para nosotros, la gente común, hacer lo máximo que podamos como individuos para continuar a pequeña escala lo que Dios ha puesto en movimiento a gran escala.
Este es también otro aspecto del mensaje de Bolsonaro: la invitación a cambiar el país de uno no solo en sus estructuras legales deformadas, sino también en los corazones y las mentes de sus habitantes.
Si el Papa fuera católico y el clero fuera recto, el trabajo de Bolsonaro sería mucho más fácil. Pero, una vez más, no debemos preocuparnos por eso: ¿no hemos visto, y no seguimos viendo, que Dios trabaja de maneras misteriosas y siempre corre en nuestra ayuda de alguna manera inesperada?
No pases noches sin dormir pensando en Bergoglio. Usa tu tristeza y enojo para orar más. Trata de ayudar en la restauración de la cordura tanto como puedas y deja que la providencia (divina) haga el resto.
El gobierno puede ser depravado, pero que los lectores de este blog sean terriblemente cristianos.

This is quite shocking, in a good way. You can barely believe this is today, in the XXI Century. This is like fresh air finally entering a room full of (liberal) stench. This is – at least as far as values are concerned – Trump on steroids.
This man shows once again that God works in mysterious ways. When He intervenes, He does it in a generally unexpected way, because the world is unable to understand the workings of God. He sends us unexpected people, with unexpected characters and inclinations, who cause an entirely unexpected upheaval of the worldly status quo. He does not send (most of the times at least) great saints and powerful angels. He sends fallible, flawed people like us. They have common names; names like Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump, Viktor Orban, Matteo Salvini; but also, looking at the past, Benito Mussolini, Napoleone Bonaparte, Flavius Valerius Aurelius Constantinus. They have normally not led, nor in many cases they continue to live, an exemplary life; but at some point, they start – more or less willingly, and at times merely out of political convenience – to do God’s work for their Country.
We look at these sudden changes of landscape, and wonder at the greatness of God, at work under our eyes, for those who have eyes to see.
We get these breaks again and again; whether we use them properly and profit from them in a permanent way is a different matter altogether. It is for us, the common people, to do the most we can as individual to continue in the small scale what God has set in motion in the great one. This is also another aspect of Bolsonaro’s message: the invitation to change one’s Country not only in its deformed legal structures, but in the hearts and minds of his inhabitants.
If the Pope were Catholic, and the clergy straight, Bolsonaro’s work would be much easier. But again, we do not need to be worried about that: have we not seen, and do we not keep seeing, that God works in mysterious ways and always runs to our help in some unexpected manner?
Do not spend sleepless nights thinking about the Evil Clown. Use your sadness and anger to pray more. Try to help in the restoration of sanity as much as you can, and let Providence do the rest.
The government may be depraved, but let the readers of this blog be terribly Christian.
